2014. You were fun.

Does the [ends justify the means](http://www.quora.com/Does-the-end-justify-the-means)?

I don’t know. I’m not smart enough to figure out that one. But for me, at this particular moment in time, I can say that it does.

On January 1, 2014, I [wrote](http://www.jbp3.com/blog/2014-the-year-of-the-ultimate-me) that my goal was to make 2014 the best year of my life. I laid out my goals for the year in each of the 7 major areas. I was ready to take on the world.

At the beginning of this year, I wrote a post about my personal blueprint to make 2014 the best year of my life — a goal I have successfully implemented every year for the last few years now. 

When I came up with the 31 items on the blueprint, I knew it was aggressive, but it was all designed with the intention of improving my quality of life around the 7 areas that are most important to me right now.
