One of my favorite sayings of all time is:
"If you do what everyone else is doing, you're going to get the same results that everyone else is getting."`
It continues with the fact that you should study what successful people are doing and do more of that. The opposite applies as well. You should study what unsuccessful people are doing and don't do that.
When Bobby Fischer was a teenager teaching himself how to play chess, the best players in the world were not from the US. So Bobby taught himself several other languages so he could learn from the best in the world.
With so much information out there at our finger tips, we can read from any book we want. If you don't like the results you're getting, read a different book.
