I could’ve taken the easy route today. I was up late. It’s snowing. I don’t want to go into the city on my day off. I should just sleep in late and stay under the warm blankets.
That would have been the easy thing to do and I’m sure I could have quickly justified it in my head.
Once you taken that easy way out once, it becomes a very slippery slope. The next time you are presented with the easy route, you don’t feel as bad about taking it. Then it becomes habit.
Today is all about doing what needs to be done.
